Description:

Yellow with black tiger-like stripes. Wingspan: 3-5.5 inches. Males are smaller. Females have iridescent blue spots.

Habitat:

Roadside small meadow with abundant flowers.

Notes:

Summer 2012. Photo #1 Male. Photo #2 and #3 Female.
