Description:

Black and red Assassin Bug that looks very much like it is mimicking a Pyrrhocorid (specifically the one that was photographed on the same night and in the same place as this one (See: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/1971686002/fullscreen). This one looks strong and vicious. Maybe one of the Millipede Assassins? Family Reduviidae.

Habitat:

Came to the lights of a store at night in Axtla de Terrazas near Xilitla, San Luis Potosí, Mexico.
