Field Notes

Description:

This bug is a red stink bug. For a bug, it was quite small, approximately 1.5 cm long and 0.7 cm wide. The body was flat and red colored with gray lining on the edge, and irregularly shaped. Its body was shaped like two trapezoids sticking out. Its head is tiny and pointed, also red, and has two tiny black eyes on each side. This bug had 6 red legs and two antennae, which were grey colored, but black on the tips.

Habitat:

The bug was found right in front of the entrance of the Singapore American School secondary rainforest. It was basking in the sunlight at about 1pm
