Field Notes

Description:

Small.... .. beetle? .. Flat, round, about 1.5cm diameter, bright orange centre, black edges with large white spots, clear shell on the head, small short antennae. Seen a few on one plant near a stream.

Habitat:

Seen in lowland forest, near the stream.

Notes:

now I have found this is a Tortoise beetle.... but species.?

It looks like a type of tortoise beetle.
