Field Notes

Description:

This is an inch in height. There are white petals, increasing to the color purple towards the middle. This flower has five petals. They grow on top of small round green leaves. These leaves are dark green in color. There are multiple stems coming up to support the flower.

Habitat:

This was found on a bush patch very near to the entrance of the forest. These were very small but since the bright white color, it was easily spotted. These were close to the ground and had to be crouched down to be seen. I think these flowers survive on bugs that don't fly, or spend most their time in the lower soil section of the rainforest. The climate is wet. The tropical rainforest with a humid side was the environment found.
