Field Notes

Description:

Large kingfisher - 46cm. Dark patch behind dark eye and limited silver-blue on shoulder. Loud chuckling laugh often in chorus.

Habitat:

This one found in the Carnarvon Gorge National Park.

Notes:

This guy was sitiing on the awning of the van looking for handouts. Obviously used to campers.
