Field Notes

Description:

Family: Araneida (Orb weaving spiders) 4-5 mm in length. Black, yellow and tan. Abdomen design looks like a face mask. Black and reddish-brown striped legs. Yellow and black stripes on other side of abdomen. Hiding on Queen Anne's Lace (wild carrot), but first photo looks like it is taking a peak at me.

Habitat:

Meadow with abundant flowers and weeds.

Notes:

You can't hide on me. I see you. LOL (Early fall)
