Description:
Glossy deep green leaves some with smooth edges and some with occasional tiny, stiff bristles, mostly heart-shaped, but they can be oval and laurel-shaped or even bearing basal lobes, alternate, simple, about 7 cm long; stems are stout, green, with large stout thorns and climbs with tendrils
