Hi Ryan, I moved this guy to the Reptile category for you. It is a common snapping turtle, as the alligator snapping turtle's distribution in Florida is only in the NW portion of the state: http://nas.er.usgs.gov/queries/factsheet.aspx?SpeciesID=1227
