Field Notes

Description:

Cephalothorax, mottled green and reddish brown. Abdomen black with significant orange dorsal marking surrounded by feint white edging. Two centered white spots edged in black, the rear spot has two more white spots edged in black, one each side. A white water line at front of abdomen. Eyes rimmed in redish brown. Palps pearly white.

Habitat:

Adjacent to a small stream. Altitude 1000m.

Notes:

I have decided to put up my collection of cosmophasis spiders. Although obviously cosmo’s, I have not been able to ID the species of these six arachnids.
