Thanks J for all the ID help and work. Definite new friend Carol, thanks!
Gorgeous moth and fantastic spot! The gold lines seem to be more defined in E. aper, which also is a high elevation species. http://www.silkmoths.bizland.com/eaper.htm The other possibilities seem to have too blurred of gold lines or are found at lower elevations: http://www.silkmoths.bizland.com/ealboalb.htm http://www.silkmoths.bizland.com/ealbobas.htm http://www.silkmoths.bizland.com/edavidia.htm http://www.silkmoths.bizland.com/edognini.htm http://www.silkmoths.bizland.com/eguttive.htm http://www.silkmoths.bizland.com/ejohannes.htm http://www.silkmoths.bizland.com/eoliver.htm
