Field Notes

Description:

Tonight I went back to look at the Tree Spider.....and she was OUT!
She is about 2 cm long and exactly matches the color of the pine bark, except for the black and tan banded, spiny legs. She ran at the camera and then back into her tunnel.

Habitat:

San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters. Along a residencial street.

Notes:

Maybe an Agelenid or Tree Funnel Web Spider.
