Field Notes

Description:

I was idly watching the Vultures soaring when I suddenly realised one of them looked a bit different - it was bigger, darker and more of an oblong profile. A quick look when I got home confirmed it to be one of the rare Black Vultures.

Habitat:

Soaring over mountain airfield 1100 metres asl.
