Description:
A fast flying bird with an orange and blue head and a white forehead patch. It’s distinguished from barn swallows by the forehead and not having a long forked tail. Nesting on the side of a bridge.
Habitat:
Wetlands.
Notes:
Yolo Bypass Wildlife Management Area.
