Description:

Brown, segmented, slimy worm.

Habitat:

They live in the soil. This one was crawling across a wooden walkway after two days of rain. Heavy rain often forces them above ground.

Notes:

They feed on plant matter and living micro organisms in the soil. They respire through the skin, are hermaphroditic and have a hydrostatic skeleton.
