Field Notes

Description:

Head is a greyish-brown, with a rufous colored crown and line behind the eye. Two dark lines on sides of the throat. Undersides are grey brown, back is streaked

Habitat:

Spotted this in a young pine tree.

Notes:

Overcast day so it was hard to get shots without getting silouettes

Wow a Rufous-crowned. I was looking for one. But it was such an overcast day, and I was too busy looking for Grasshopper Sparrow some spotted but gave me poor directions. I wish it was a better photo.
