Field Notes

Notes:

No aphids in sight. A group of twenty or so of these Ladybirds were occupying an area of about 10cu metres 10 x 1 x 1 and a dozen Cobbler's Pegs plants among grass and under a large gum tree in a wood. There were other ladybirds in the wood but they seemed to be singularly occupied on the same species of plant. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bidens_pilosa
