Field Notes

Description:

Brown marbled Sphinx, relatively small at about 3.5 cm in length. Both the upper and under wings were similar in coloring. This one has it's tail feathers spread. Family Sphingidae.

Habitat:

Came to the lights of a store, Axtla de Terrazas near Xilitla, San Luis Potosí, Mexico.
