Description:

Fish is approximately 7 inches long. It has prominant black banding on on a white body. The tail fin has a dark colored band. It has a long extension on the dorsal fin.

Habitat:

Intertidal area, moderate to heavy wave action.

Notes:

Identification confirmed by a local dive master.
