Description:
superficially similar to an Assassin bug but the shorter, broader head separates it into the family, Lygaeidae (seed bugs & ground bugs). Mostly orange and black the grey on the ventral side of the thorax and on the legs not noticeable at a distance
Habitat:
on Phyllanthus plants growing in a clearing on a cattle farm in an arid sub tropical bushveld area
