Field Notes

Description:

First photo is an adult (though rather dirty as it was raining). Adults have dark brown body with white head and tail. Second photo is an immature, and next to it is a Northwestern Crow, and boy does that crow look tiny! The immature eagle is mostly brown with white patches and flecking on the body.

Habitat:

Hanging out on the banks of a small creek where it enters the bay. Behind the road I was on that hugs the coast is a mountain pine forest.
