Field Notes

Description:

•They eat fruits, leaves, nectar and insects.
•They lay two or three eggs in the nest.
•The chicks leave the nest in 18 days.

Habitat:

Semi-open habitats
-I saw this bird in Itaipava(RJ,Brazil)

This is an imature bird, but not a "sanhaçu-do-mamoeiro" or "sanhaçu-cinzento", two commom names in Brazil for the sayaca tanager, but a "sanhaçu-de-encontro-amarelo" (Tangara ornata) as I've suggested.
Thank you!!! First I thought that it was a Sayaca Tanager, but I looked closer and it is a little different

Needs confirmation but it looks like a Sayaca Tanager
