Field Notes

Description:

Abdomen is grayish brown w/ pink bands. . Forewing is mottled gray and brown; hindwing is gray with black bands and pink at the base.

Habitat:

Tropical and subtropical lowlands, open areas. This specimen was spotted outside my residence adjacent to a conservation wetland area that leads to a lake.
