Description:

Small sp of fox native to the Central grasslands of the United Stated and Canada. Primarily nocturnal and omnivorous.

Habitat:

Range: Graslands from North Eastern Rockies to North-Western Texas

Notes:

Once in trouble due to varmint control measures, the Swift Fox has started to make a comeback in the United States but is still protected in Canada.
This specimen resides at the Tulsa Zoo & Living Museum, Tulsa, OK
