Description:

small, narrow winged Acraea with distinctive plump yellow abdomen, wingspan about 40mm

Habitat:

disturbed ground by road verge, very shallow soil supporting a thin cover of low growing pioneer weeds.

Notes:

the Acraea was visiting flowers
