Description:

Family: Tettigoniidae. 1 3/4 inches long. Entirely green. Broad wings resembling a leaf. Flightless. One of the loudest night-time insects. Adults eat mostly leaves from willow, rosewood and citrus trees. But also eat petals, stems, even weeds, and at times nectar and pollen.

Habitat:

Open woodlands. Prefers deciduous woods/forests.

Notes:
