Field Notes

Description:

Small white glob on branchlet. Approx 5mm diameter. Has liquid or perhaps honeydew oozing from it. I didn't prod it so not sure whether it was an insect/larvae or part of the tree.

It could very well be resin. I didn't take note of the tree species at the time :-( Thanks auntnance!
Do you know what kind of tree/shrub it is? Because it looks very much like a bit of resin oozing from the branch.
