Description:

extremely hairy caterpillar, I could not see its head or face

Habitat:

pacific coast rainforest

Notes:

I almost missed this caterpillar when I walked past it. It was feeding on a leaf at knee level.

Another case for P.I. bayucca? Thanks Yuko, would be cool to have this around and be able to pet it.
Not sure about this one. Megalopygidae or Lymantriinae?? Looks different to the common Megalopyge sp or Podalia sp. (Megalopygidae) or a "common" tussock moth. But it could also be another family.
This caterpillar is super cute! I wish I can have one as a pet!
