I think this may be a baby Timber Rattlesnake?

This is not a rattlesnake (notice no rattles on the end of the tail). This looks like a juvenile non-venomous snake. I think, perhaps, a Northern Watersnake, Nerodia sipedon. http://srelherp.uga.edu/snakes/nersip.htm
