Field Notes

Description:

A big longhorn beetle, about 4cm long body, dark brown to black body, legs, long antennae. Some striped bands around the body in a lighter rust to burgundy colour.

Habitat:

Seen in an urban hotel garden

Notes:

Very friendly creature, well.. he didn't leave anyway. He has little hook feet and seemed to have trouble with the foliage, preferred the concrete or the tree trunks, and skin was okay too.
