Species ID Suggestions

Comments (1)

This is a wolf spider, a very large group of similar looking spiders. It would be hard to identify the species based upon just this one photo. There is a fairly common species that looks like this, the Rabid Wolf Spider, Rabidosa rabida. This is just a guess and, based upon the size in relation to the plants in the photo, this one seems a bit small for R. rabida. http://bugguide.net/node/view/26083 http://animaldiversity.org/site/accounts/information/Rabidosa_rabida.html
