Field Notes

Description:

Gray-blue back and head with a white neck and belly. This is a male; the females have a rust-colored band on the belly.

Habitat:

Underneath a ramp leading to the docks in the Wrangell Narrows on Mitkof Island. Surrounding area is mountain pine forests and glaciers.
