Field Notes

Description:

Small fish, around 2.5 cm, fully yellow/goldish in colour. The interesting aspect of this fish is the face texture is not smooth but rather 'hairy', hence its name. It is also called Bearded Goby.

Habitat:

Usually lives in the shallow reefs, but only in Acropora coral.
This makes them very hard to find and even harder to photograph completely, especially the full fish, as they are most likely hidden between branches of Acropora coral.
