Field Notes

Description:

About 3cm long when straight but had curled up when I returned with the camera. Similar to Tiger Moth but not an exact match. Not even sure if it is Moth or Butterfly.

Habitat:

Basking on a sunlit corner of the hangar on a mountain airfield at 1100 metres asl and temperature only just above freezing!
