The Pronotum pattern helps narrow it down to which. If only you had a photo of the Pronotum
There are 4 species of lady bugs that don't have spots. Cycloneda munda Polished lady beetle... Cycloneda polita Cycloneda sanguinea Anatis lecontei
was blood red.Did not have spots.
