Description:

A medium to large triangular moth with a greyish color with darker blotches and veins.

Habitat:

Spotted in a pine,fir ,vine maple and hawthorn dominate forest. Drasteria ochracea is a moth of the Erebidae family. It is found from British Columbia south through the western parts of the United States from Washington south to Arizona.

I think this may be a different species than Balsa malana. I am still looking for a match. It is a beautiful moth either way!
