Poor monkey, it should not have a can in his or her hands, people littering is why animals can get hurt or sick
Yes it is Crab-eating Macaque and those in this location have become a menace to women and children in particular as they are known to charge at them and snatch food, handbags, sunglasses etc., all caused by humans offering them food. In some places such as Singapore they have been culled and the public warned not to feed them and here they are now much better behaved but In Penang they are well-known for their, at times, vicious attacks against humans in the quest for food. Also known as Long-tailed Macaque (Macaca fascicularis).
Macaca but not sure which. Possibly Crab eating https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crab-eating_macaque
