Description:

Has no segements on abdomen and the entire body is covered in easily visible hair.

Notes:

In the first picture the ant is taking a seed from the Erodium genus back to the colony. The last two images have a Harvester Ant going into its anthill and another one's antenna peeking out in the 3nd one.

Thank you very much! I have a ton of ant photos I can use this for.
There are over 70 species of ants in California. They are hard to ID. There is a site for ID but the expert who created it IDs the ants by face first. https://www.antweb.org/bayarea.jsp
