Field Notes

Description:

Small brown bat with black ears.

Habitat:

Sleeping inside a half-empty cardboard 6-pack of Dead Guy Ale on the back porch.

Notes:

These bats normally roost under the cedar shakes on the house, but this one made a poor decision to hang out in something more likely to be handled. He was not happy when I disturbed him.
