American Goldfinch

I have so many of these little birds in the winter that the thistle feeder that they are on can be depleted of all seeds in 2 days. Their winter yellow color doesn't stand out as much as their bright yellow breeding male colors. It is sleeting in this picture and they are unaffected by it.
