Field Notes

Description:

Black and white patterned forewings, with striking orange and black hindwings. Noticeable black dot on the hindwing. Abdomen is mostly black and white striped, though there are some thin orange stripes also. Head is orange.

Habitat:

Found near native bushland, around 7km from the coast. Near Eucalyptus sp. Acacia sp. Melaleuca sp. and Angophora sp. Attracted to nightlight.
