Description:

This large male looked like he was playing with a ball, but it is actually a bright orange buoy. I think he might have been using it as a cushion. When we passed by the dock, he let go of the buoy and lifted his head up proudly. He was alone, but there is a sea lion rookery around the corner with a group of more than 50 sea lions.

Habitat:

On a dock where many commercial fishing boats dock
