Field Notes

Description:

Body is less than 1.5 inches long. Body color more brown than green. Strong, deep swimmer.

Notes:

Thought I "rescued" it from the swimming pool last night, only to discover two more of these in the pool again - before sunrise today! (North Carolina is said to be home to 20+ species of frogs. http://herpsofnc.org/frogs-and-toads/). One thought this was a Squirrel Treefrog, but another says it’s a young American Bullfrog.
