Description:
Also known as soft slipper and jelly crep, this is a 2 to 8 cm large oyster-like carpophore, ocre-beige in colour above with pale brown gills. The really helpful characteristics is that appears gelatinous, unlike other species of the same genus. Like most of species from the genus, it grows in small groups on dead wood.
Habitat:
Observed on decaying log and a tree stump, abaten and left to rot on forest floor in a Wetland protected area of Mategnin (Meyrin) suburbs of Geneva.
