Field Notes

Description:

•They eat larvae of invertebrates, zooplankton, smaller fish, crustaceans, algae and the vomit and the waste of spinner dolphings.
•They form aggregations of about several hundreds of individuals.
•They clean green sea turtles with doctorfish and blue tangs.

Habitat:

Coral reefs (adults), tide pools (juveniles)
-I saw these damselfish in Ilha Grande (RJ, Brazil)
