Description:

Galeruca spectabilis is a species of leaf beetle, described by Faldermann in 1837.

Habitat:

Spotted along a footpath in an oak forest near village Stavropotamos (Kastoria, Greece).

I think the punctures the elytra and pronotum are a bit too coarse for G. tanaceti. Also, G. tanaceti shouldn't have such strong costae on the elytra. I think it's G. spectabilis Faldermann, 1837, a closely related species found in the eastern Mediterranean.
