Description:

tough large cluster easily 2 feet long with multiple fan-shaped caps concentrically arranged, still grew after this pic, living on dead Willow Oak wood, has reappeared same place last year, pure white when young then streaked light brown, bruises and discolors black

Habitat:

living on the dead roots/stump of a Willow Oak on urban home yard
