Description:

This is one of larger terrestrial slugs, measuring about 10 cm when extended. Colour can vary, but this one was mainly brown, sporting deep longitudinal ridges on the body and blackish head-top and tentacules. Ressemble a lot to a Red slug (A. rufus).

Habitat:

Found in and around a lowland oak forest in Geneva lake valley. This particular forest is protected as an important habitat of Fire Salamanders.
