Description:

This Screech Owl couple nest on this property in their owl box each year. You can see their little feet if you look towards the bottom of the opening. My friends who own the property have told me there may be up to three different couples that nest on their property. When they are not mating, they are in separate owl boxes on the same property.

Habitat:

Neighborhood with lots of pine, oak, and pasture. Near a pond

Thanks Polilla and triggsturner :)
Thanks Ashley and Thalita !
How cool, Machi! Love the interracial screech owl couples ;)
Thanks beaker! I am very envious of my friends because they see lots of owls, woodpeckers, and other great birds on their property, but I am happy to have the opportunity to see them :)
Great shots Machi! I've been trying to get a screech owl for years and still haven't captured one.
