Field Notes

Description:

One of the more conspicuous species in the East; nymphs and adults often seen clustered together in large groups on smooth tree trunks. The nymphs have yellow and brown striped abdomens. --Philip Careless (from Bugguide).

Habitat:

Woodland habitat.

Notes:

These little guys remind me of skeletons for some reason:)
